Republican Agency on Tourism is an executive government body of Buryatia.
The agency:
- Implements government regulation of tourism in Buryatia.
- Creates incentives for investors in tourism.
- Implements cluster-type policy in tourism.
- Monitors performance of companies working in tourism, using statistical data.
- Organizes marketing activites and promotes tourist resources and brands, including special economic zone of recreational type “Baikal Harbor”.
- Provides government support to small and medium businesses working in tourism.
- Facilitates in training of professional staff for the republican tourism and recreational system.
